Our Hosting Company's User Regulations

Final Host Internet Services reserves the right to remove, and/or terminate any account, without prior notification if  found to be in violation of any of the following policies; the client forfeits the right to any pro-rated refund for services. These Policies Are Intended For All Services Running On Final Host:

 

BANNED CONTENT

• Warez, Cracking, (AKA: Hacking), Satellite Keys, Gaming related Sites and Illegal activities in any form, including but not limited to activities such as unauthorized distribution or copying of copyrighted software, violation of export restrictions, harassment, fraud, trafficking in any obscene material - child porn, drug dealing, and other illegal activities.



• Adult Content / Pornographic Materials, No nudity in any shape or form, pornographic links or advertisements associated with adult related sites and/or materials.



• Hate / Race related WebSites, including but not limited to; white supremacy groups, racist websites, posting of defamatory, scandalous, or private information about a person without their consent, intentionally inflicting emotional distress, or violating trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights.

USER ABUSE

• Net Abuse, including but not limited to activities such as using a non-existent email return address for solicitation, spamming (sending unsolicited advertising to numerous email addresses, generating higher volume of outgoing email than a normal user), allowing spamming by third parties to promote a website hosted by Final Host. Misuse of mail server causing excessive CPU time and resources. Mailbombing (sending multiple messages to the same user). Attempting without authorization to enter into a secured computer system. Final Host reserves the right to determine what constitutes net abuse.
  
  
• Misuse of system resources, including but not limited to employing posts or programs, heavy traffic which consumes excessive CPU time or storage space;  a shared environment is exactly that, shared resources, if your website interferes with other clients websites by hogging most of the resources & bandwidth than you may be asked to use a dedicated server plan or move. To Permit the use of mail services, auto responders, POP accounts, for other than the customer's own account; or attempting to use a single customer account for third party websites by allowing more than one domain pointer to be used to reference pages within the customer's site. Use of a website to provide storage of downloads or images to a third party website, (i.e: Ebay image storage), Live video feed, video conferencing, web cams etc.. is not permitted under regular hosting plans, please contact us for our price list.
  
  
• Large/Heavy Traffic/Corporate Accounts, Final Hosts web hosting plans are for small to mid sized websites/traffic,  If your site has excessive, heavy traffic, a large Corporation, (i.e: Radio Station, TV Station, Government, Tourism, Large Chain Of Stores, excessive traffic for MP3/audio/video downloads etc.. ) Our packages located at: http://finalhost.com/packages.asp do not support "Un-metered Data Transfer", please email sales@finalhost.com or submit our form for a hosting plan suited to your needs.
  
  
• Prohibited, at no time, are clients given the authority to provide account User ID and Passwords for unauthorized persons to access our servers (this means no one). This would be considered a high risk activity, and in breech of our security code at Final Host, to do so may lead to account termination.
  
  
• Chat or Listservs,
  IRC chats prohibited at Final Host. Permissible chat programs are provided for your use in our members area.
  LISTSERV policies are in accordance to our SPAM policies - anyone caught spamming will automatically be banned from this service.
  
  
• FTP Access, 
  All accounts include one (1) master Login / Password for FTP access.
  Additional FTP Login accounts will be fee based -$5.00 per password.
  Misuse of FTP resources for any reason, account will be terminated without notice.
  
  
• CGI / Perl Scripts / ASP etc..,
  
  All accounts include access to a personal/private cgi-bin.
  Clients may use custom / 3rd party scripts, however; support is not available for 3ird party/custom scripts, you will have to contact the writer/owner of the script for support.
  Final Host Internet Services reserves the right to suspend, remove or disallow any scripts which it determines to be corrupt, and / or a security risk to the server. (Including scripts which cause extensive processor usage)

ACCOUNT REGULATIONS

• Data Base Users, Maximum limit for dB source is 2 per account unless otherwise specified by hosting account features. 
  Data base connectivity does not include scripting for client sites, this part is left up to clients to maintain and create. If you require any scripting the charge is $50.00 per hour. If clients have purchased any software, scripts ( i.e.: password tools, storefront2000, etc..) for their sites, it is the responsibility of the script supplier, software product companies to support their own products. • Free Shopping Cart Usage, One shopping cart is permitted per domain on designated e-commerce hosting accounts. This free service is a shared shopping cart service, therefore the check out area is "as is" & can not be changed to suit individuals requirements. Misuse of any of the shopping cart features or resources, will be immediately terminated without notice to you. If you require an additional shopping cart, or are a reseller sharing account space, carts are provided at an additional fee.
  
  
• Account Specials, 1 special offer permitted for main hosting accounts - You must be a new account to receive our web special. Offers may end at any time & some  *restrictions may apply*. If you have signed up for your account using one of our SPECIAL OFFERS, your offer is good and remains the same until you either, terminate your account , no longer require it, or otherwise specified by Final Host.
  
  
• FREE Name Usage, Final Host owns the .finalhost.net, & .finalhost.com names if you have signed up with this as the special offer or mirror account, you can not transfer this domain name to another provider.
